"Raised Faced Flange Demo" is a trial version of the program which computes the stresses in a raised faced flange in accordance with the ASME Boiler Code, 1998 Edition. The demo version has been set up with fixed dimensions for purposes of demonstration; the dimensions fields in the full version are completely customizable to your design specifics. The program is designed for use on an IBM compatable PC with a minimum of 3 MB availible memory and Windows 95 or later. A printer is necessary to produce a report-suitable copy of the data and you will need Winzip, or a similar program to unzip the file once you have downloaded it. Setup

Download the program by clicking on the "download" button. Unzip the file and open the folder. Double click on the "setup" file and Raised Face Flange will go through the steps to install itself on your computer. Once the installation is complete, just click on the "Raised Face Flange Demo" icon to start the program.

Running the Program

"Raised Face Flange" has many user-friendly options to assist in data-entry. You may click on the "Instructions" button on any screen to get help. When you have finished entering the values and choices on a screen, click "Continue" to proceed. You may exit the program at any time.

Helpful Hints

On each data entry screen, the text boxes may be accessed by clicking them with the mouse, or by using the tab key to continue to the next text box. If a data entry is left blank, the program will prompt the user to enter a value before proceeding.
